J.M. McDonald Sports Complex

Since 2001, the Cortland Community Foundation has awarded $82,500 in grants to the J.M. McDonald Sports Complex. These grants have assisted in the construction and equipment costs of the sports complex. In addition, a grant was issued for the purchase of supplies and equipment needed for the implementation of the CHAMP program. Project CHAMP is an after school program created to provide fitness and academic mentorship for the Cortland and Homer school districts.

“The J.M. McDonald Sports Complex Board of Directors and staff greatly appreciate the support given by your organization to the goals of our community sports facility. Leaders like you are evidence of the dedication and pride we all have for the Cortland community.” Tamara Sciera, Executive Director of the Sports Complex.
